Loudspeaker Line Measuring Load

Beschreibung Description

Das LML-1 wird für die Überwachung von 100 V-

Lautsprecherleitungen in professionellen Beschal-

lungsanlagen in Kombination mit Mehrkanal-Ver-

stärkern der Electro-Voice CPS-Serie oder der

DYNACORD DSA-Serie verwendet. Diese Verstär-

ker ermöglichen zusammen mit RCM-810

Modulen eine komfortable Lautsprecherlinien-

Überwachung auf Grundlage der Impedanzmes-

sung. Die Impedanz einer Lautsprecherleitung

hängt jedoch von vielen Faktoren ab, z. B. Lei-

tungslänge, Kabelkapazität, Lautsprecherim-

pedanz, Temperatur, usw., und kann daher stark

schwanken. Das LML-1 wird am Ende einer 100 V-

Lautsprecherleitung angeschlossen, um stabile

Verhältnisse zu erzeugen. Bei 20 kHz stellt das

LML-1 eine definierte Last dar, während es im nor-

malen Audiofrequenzbereich impedanzmäßig

nicht in Erscheinung tritt. Mit dem LML-1 wird

somit die Genauigkeit der Impedanzmessung

erhöht, und unterbrochene oder kurzgeschlos-

sene Lautsprecherlinien werden selbst bei langen

Leitungen und externen Einflüssen zuverlässig

erkannt.

The LML-1 can be used with all Electro-Voice CPS

Series or DYNACORD DSA Series multi channel

amplifiers in 100 V line mode for loudspeaker line

supervision. These amplifiers provide, together

with RCM-810 modules, a convenient loudspeaker

line supervision based on impedance measure-

ment. The impedance of a loudspeaker line, how-

ever, depends on many factorys, such as cable

length, cable capacitance, speaker impedance,

temperature, etc., and therefore can vary greatly.

The LML-1 is connected to the end of a 100 V

loudspeaker line to generate stable conditions. At

20 kHz the LML-1 represents a defined load, while

having minimal load over the normal audio fre-

quency range. With the LML-1 thus the accuracy of

the impedance measurement is increased, and

broken or shorted speaker lines can be detected

reliably even on long cable runs.
